1. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with current legislation, you have 5 days  from receipt of your order to request a return or refund if the product does not meet your expectations or if it has a defect.

Why this delay?

This period allows you to verify that the product received matches the description on the platform, that it works properly, and that it is in perfect condition. We want to give you enough time to review your purchase without pressure.

Conditions for exercising this right:

– The product must be returned in its original packaging, undamaged and unused.
– All accessories, manuals and documents supplied with the product must be included.
– The product must not be damaged by improper use.

Concrete example:

If you order a smartphone and find that it does not turn on or has scratches not mentioned, you can exercise your right of withdrawal within 5 days.

2. Products not eligible for return

To ensure fairness to our sellers and prevent abuse, some products cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective or non-compliant. These products include:

– Customized or custom-made products  : For example, a piece of furniture made to your specifications.

– Perishable products  : Such as food or drinks, which cannot be reused.

– Digital products : Software, ebooks or files already downloaded or activated.

– Products damaged by improper use  : For example, an electronic device damaged by a power surge.

These exceptions are necessary to protect sellers from abusive returns and ensure that returned products can be resold or reused.

3. Return Process

We’ve simplified the return process to give you a hassle-free experience. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Contact us  :

– Fill out the return request form available in your DavLite dashboard .
– Indicate the reason for the return (defective, non-compliant product, etc.) and attach photos of the product if necessary.

2. Obtain authorization :

– Our team will review your request within 24 to 48 hours  and send you a return authorization if approved.

3. Return the product  :

– Carefully pack the product in its original packaging to avoid damage during transport.
– Return it to the address indicated in the return authorization.

4. Confirmation and reimbursement  :

– Once the product is received and inspected, we will inform you of the status of your request within 5 business days .
– If the return is validated, a refund will be issued within 14 business days .

Tip  : Always keep the tracking number of your returned package so you can track its status.

4. Reimbursement

We’re committed to processing your refund quickly and transparently. Here’s how it works:

– Refund method  : The refund will be made via the same payment method used for the purchase (bank card, mobile money, etc.).

– Return costs  : Return costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of a defective or non-compliant product.

– Amount refunded  : The amount refunded corresponds to the purchase price of the product, excluding initial delivery costs.

Example  : If you paid 50,000 XOF for a product and 5,000 XOF for delivery, you will be reimbursed 50,000 XOF.

5. Defective or non-compliant products

If you receive a defective product or one that does not match the description on the platform, we offer you a quick solution at no additional cost.

Procedure  :

1. Report the problem within 5 days  of receiving the product.
2. Provide evidence (photos, videos) of the defect or non-conformity.
3. If the claim is validated, we will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost.

Concrete example  : If you order a red dress but receive a blue dress, you can request a replacement or a refund.

6. Exceptions

To protect our sellers and ensure fairness, the product will not be returned and refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

– The product is incomplete (missing accessories, parts, etc.).
– The product was purchased outside the DavLite platform.
– The product has been damaged due to improper use or negligence.
– The product does not have a valid receipt or proof of purchase.

Why these exceptions?

These rules are in place to prevent abuse and ensure that returned products can be resold or reused.

7. Warranty

If the product is covered by a warranty, please contact the seller or manufacturer directly for any claims. Saydav  can assist you with this process if necessary.

Example  : If your electronic device breaks down during the warranty period, we will help you contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
